I am suggesting that balance is good in our christian walk. why? if we look at our rolled model (JESUS CHRIST) who was both man and at the sametime he was God. Jesus lived a balance life. he was open to the public for social time and at night he want off to pray.

As the bible says we must first of all, draw closer to God (which is a collection of our identity), by then we can face the world.

it not easy!!

but God will help us all! :)
grace and peace be your in abundance.

hello, Olivia

well. thatīs a difficult question, specially to write on. But after reading your question the 1st verses that came to my mind was the one that Paul wrote:

"Everything is permissible, but not everything is constructive!"

"All things are lawful for me, but all things edify not!" 1 corithians 10.23

Sure itīs very important for a Christian to have balance and discernement to separate evil from good.

We must see what really Edify us, example letīs say we are watching TV, we must ask ourselves if that specific program is edify us or corrupting us!

Itīs a dailly battle!

God bless you!!

Well being as though we are now walking in the steps of Christ, we are supposed to live in Spirit and those who walk in the flesh are flesh. But just because we are not going to clubs, raves or whatever you want to call it, that doesn't mean that we don't have a social life but there is no in between. You can't go to a club saturday night and come to church sunday morning with a hangover. :) God bless

Hi Guys,

What is the right balance when it comes to our walk with God? By this I mean being social beings and spiritual beings.

I hope I made myself clear.
