The event was greeeeaaaattt. I loved it. It was much more than what I ever expected. It really opened my eyes. Sure, there were a few sound problems, but that shouldn't have stopped anyone from getting the most out of it. The tips were really useful, the clips were hilarious, the singing and dancing was great and I really liked the goody bag too.

Something that i learnt that i have still kept in my heart is that i should just leave my husband, to reach his goals with no critisms or inputting my opinion (unless he asks of course) in order not to deter him. Also i learnt that i shouldn't make a mountain out of a molehill, if he doesn't want to discuss something with me that happened that day, it may be affecting him but he wants to think it through first and discuss it with me in his own time or not at all. I shouldn't pester him to tell me what is wrong, think that it is me or that he doesn't love me.

I also learn't that women can sometimes speak in code to a man and we need to speak straight forward and not expect him to read our mind, for example with the whole birthday present article we watched, i cannot expect him to understand i want earrings unless i say... not by shoving a catalogue in his face, saying that i like those particular earrings. There was a guy in that street interview section that has women and their hints DOWN!!

He explained our code down to a tee, so they do understand a little. Also the lady who faced abuse, we should have been able to ask her questions, i know someone who has been in exactly the same situation with the abuse not to the possesive extent). But this person is not open to discussion, this person split from marraige after 15 years because of the abuse, plus infidelity and these are things i want to keep in mind for when i have my husband to make him feel a very blessed husband on my part.

Me too , for some reason i think i expected more....i was really disappointed at the fact that the sound was not fixed up properly before the convention.i hope we can make improvements for febuary.

I am slightly dissapointed, with the sound crew that were used for such a big event, you would think that they would get it right for such an organised event, what happened to testing the mike before hand? We hear the pastors do it all the time and there are no faults throughout the meeting so what happened? Also someone who was beside me was so excited about the event, she didn't sleep much but she was playing hangman with another person beside her pretty much while the convention was going on. We were told to write down some questions for the hosts, and that was not raised througout the programme, of who had the questions. On a positive note, loved my goody bag, LADIES or hosts you looked very beautiful and the journey to the event was fantastic too!

Oh pretty please tell me about it, here in SA we did not have the Women's Convention so i'm just dying to know what it's all about
